How many bins do I need?
Match your home to a size below. As a rule of thumb, plan for about 20 bins for a studio or 1-bedroom, 40 for a 2–3 bedroom, or 60 for 4+ bedrooms.
Why rent bins instead of buying boxes?
Renting reusable moving bins is faster, sturdier, and cheaper than buying cardboard boxes for a local move. There's nothing to tape or assemble, the bins won't crush or collapse, and we come pick them up when you're done. For most St Pete moves, a flat bin rental costs less than a pile of new boxes and tape.

Locally owned in St Pete
Hi, my name is Matthew Metcalfe. I started St Pete Moving Bins to fix something that bugged me every time I helped a friend move: days spent hunting down free boxes behind grocery stores, taping them shut, then breaking them all down again two weeks later for the trash. Reusable bin rental was already common in a lot of cities, but nobody was doing it here in Pinellas County.
So I built it myself. Every bin gets sanitized and inspected before it reaches your door, and we come pick up the empties when you’re done, no landfill run required. When you book with us, you’re supporting a small, local business, not a national chain.
